Choose a style — wrap tea, swing, sundress, cocktail, empire, column, mermaid, formal gown, pioneer, Victorian day dress or a wedding dress — then a neckline, a sleeve, a skirt and a fabric — I'll sketch it, fit it in a toile, and sew it just for you.
Each look is built from my photographed gowns and fabrics, on the same dress form in my studio. Tap any look to open it in the designer, then change whatever you like.

Sofia's notes
A little letter from my sewing room
Welcome in, and thank you for dreaming up a dress with me. There are three ways in to the same design, so begin wherever feels right: Design a dress lets you choose each detail step by step, the Lookbook shows finished looks you can make your own, and Style quiz is a short, gentle quiz. All three share one design, so nothing you choose is lost.
How I keep the pictures honest
When you change one detail, you're looking at a real sample I sewed and photographed.
When you change two or more, I layer the sleeve, neckline and skirt from their own photographs onto the same dress form. Those are marked "Design study — composed from N photographed samples."
Some pairings simply don't sew up well, so I've set them aside and told you why — a halter or off-shoulder neckline brings its own sleeve, and a mermaid skirt wants its length.
If I haven't photographed a hem length on a skirt yet, I draw it as a dashed line rather than pretend.
Colours and prints are shown digitally — draped over the real folds of the photograph, thread by thread, whether you pick one of my fabrics or upload your own. I'll always post you real fabric swatches before I cut.
You can cut the bodice and skirt from two different fabrics, and see the dress shaped to your own bust, waist and hip. The shaping is a gentle preview; the real fit comes from your toile.
What happens next
Once you love your design, make your atelier card and bring it to a fitting. I'll take your measurements, draw a hand sketch, and fit a toile (a practice dress in plain cotton) before I ever touch your fabric. That's where the real fit comes from.
With love and a full pincushion, Sofia
